How I work

A practice, not a transaction.

Every engagement moves through the same three stages — with care where it matters.

01

Discovery

A 30-minute conversation. You describe the moment you're in. I tell you, honestly, whether I'm the right fit for it — and if I'm not, I point you toward someone who is.

02

The Work

The shape of the work depends on what you've engaged me for. Physical-space work — a room reset, the inventory of an aging parent's home, an assisted-living transition — is on-site, often for days at a time. Document and family-conversation work meets in person, by video, or both. Fully remote work — digital legacy plans, photo archives, ethical-will recordings — is delivered entirely on video and through asynchronous handoff. Whatever shape it takes, the work is paced to the moment.

03

Threshold

When the engagement closes, I hand off what was produced — the rebuilt rooms, the binder, the document vault, the photo archive, the systems. I check in afterward at the interval that makes sense for the work. If something isn't holding, we fix it. The relationship continues as long as it's useful to you.

My approach

A few things I'll do that other organizers won't.

I listen before I plan. Twenty-five years as a recruiter trained me to ask the right opening questions and stay quiet long enough to hear the answer. Every engagement starts with a real conversation about what's actually weighing on you, not a checklist of square footage.

I scope honestly. Project Management isn't decoration. I quote in writing, hold to the scope, and tell you the day I see the scope changing — not the week the bill arrives.

I never throw out anything you haven't confirmed. Ever. Not a single item leaves your home without you saying yes to it.

I bring a vendor bench. Movers, junk haulers, donation pickup, handymen, electricians, painters, photographers. You don't have to manage them. I do.

I work with your other professionals. Estate attorneys, financial advisors, therapists, doulas, realtors, senior-move managers. I coordinate; I don't compete.

I follow up. Six weeks after the engagement closes is when most systems either hold or start to fray. I'm checking in at that mark. If something isn't working, we fix it.
